"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

One of the subjects I've studied is mathematics. Therefore I have a certain affinity to fractal related stuff. Moreover I love the aesthetic aspects very much!
I started out with Apophysis five years ago. Currently I try to achieve clear shapes with an extensive elimination of chaos. Another program I'm using is Mandelbulber 3D.
Still, knowing it sounds a bit uncommon, I'd like to do what you're doing, but by hand. Perhaps, not entirely like yours, but close. Or, at least, as close as a pen will get me. However, I'm more of a traditionalist than a digital artist. So, in order to accomplish such great details, I might have to attempt this with Rapidograph and microns. Either way, challenge accepted.
